  did you start the Akarna-dhanura-asana
  (The Shooting-bow Pose)?

  can you tell me when did it begin and why it is popular ?
  and is your name karmadude?
  i need to no this for a written assignment for dance

  Jena: No, I did not start Akarna Dhanura Asana. It is an old yoga pose and probably has been around from the time ancient Indian’s practiced yoga over 5000 years ago. I am not really sure about the history of the pose, but here is a link which explains the history of yoga, hope that helps.

  It might be popular because when you really focus your energy into the pose, you almost feel like an archer using the body as a bow.

  My real name is not Karmadude, but you can say that’s how I am known on the web!
